Our brain works like a muscle that needs to be challenged and trained, otherwise it will atrophy. Therefore, the only person you are competing against is yourself - and perhaps your inner bastard.
Directions:
The aim of the game is to train the brain to read the Bible and have fun doing it. If you answer the questions correctly, you will move on to the next level.
If you answer the questions incorrectly, points will be deducted. The points of all question categories are added together! The winner is the person who answers all the questions and takes a top place in the high score.
Depending on how well the game is received, I will add more questions at irregular intervals!
Judaism and Christianity each refer to their own collections of writings as the Bible (also known as the Book of Books), which are documents of their faith as holy writings.
The writings of the Bible have a normative character for the practice of religion in both Judaism and Christianity. In Orthodox Judaism, the Torah is considered to have been given to Moses and the Jewish people at Mount Sinai by God; in Christianity, the Old and New Testaments are God's revelations. Islam also recognizes the Bible and with it its two predecessor religions as a valid, albeit partially falsified, revelation of Allah.
The Hebrew Bible, usually referred to by Jews as Tanakh, and often also after the first part as Torah, consists of three parts: Torah (teaching), Neviim (Prophets) and Ketuvim (Writings). In a different order than the Old Testament, these books form the first main part of the Christian Bible, which is supplemented by the New Testament as the second main part. In this form, the Bible is the most widespread and widely published written work in the world.
